Eligible and skilled candidates who already have express entry profiles are invited by the Alberta province to apply for PNP for PR Canada in the latest PNP draw.
Alberta province of Canada has invited 200 express entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in a new draw held on 2nd March 2021. The required CRS score was dropped to 301, and the Candidates who scored a CRS score of 301 and more were invited to apply for PNP for Canadian PR. The candidates who got invitations can now apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
Express Entry is a popular applications management system of Canada, the system manages the profiles of candidates belonging to three Federal High Skilled immigration pathways, which includes the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates in the express entry system will receive the CRS score based on the factors such as the candidate’s age, qualification, work experience, language proficiency in English or French, and others.
However, the candidates who got selected for PNP will be awarded additional 600 points to the overall score, which increases the chances of getting PR.
As Alberta province invited express entry candidates with a CRS of 301 and more, the total CRS score after PNP invitation will be 901 and more, as 600 additional points are allocated as per the rule. The respective candidates will have an edge in the express entry draws conducted by IRCC for PR.
In the latest draw help by IRCC on 8th March, candidates with a provincial nomination were only invited to apply for PR.
