Introduced In
BC PNP Tech Pilot, which was initially launched in 2017, is a fast-track immigration pathway for in-demand tech-savvy people and international graduates.
Extended Up To
British Columbia launched this pilot project to welcome skilful techies to fill the shortage of tech workers in the province and it is being extended several times to meet the requirements. Now, BC PNP Tech Pilot has been extended to June 2021.

In 2021 to date, British Columbia has organised 19 draws and invited almost 3,000 candidates through various PNP categories and streams to apply for a provincial nomination.

Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker

Eligibility
Register in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams
Have a valid job offer of at least 12 months in one of the Tech Pilot’s 29 eligible occupations.
To apply for categories such as Skills Immigration or Express Entry candidates, a candidate is required to create a profile through the BC PNP’s online portal and register under Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
