Canada Express Entry: 671 Candidates Issued Invitation To Apply(ITA) For Canada PR
Canada’s IRCC organised an express entry draw recently on match 8th 2021 and 671 ITAs were issued to eligible candidates. 671 candidates can apply for permanent residence status.
The cutoff marked by IRCC in this draw was 739, candidates who have scored 739 and more were obtained ITAs for PR.
Though the cutoff requirement (739) seems high, the candidates already received nominations through different provinces of Canada pushing their total CRS score post 600. As the candidates belong to the provincial nominee program category, additionally, 600 points were added to the express entry profile score as per the general PNP rule.
If the scores (cutoff mark) of candidates are equal, the tie-breaker rule applies. Coming to this 8th March Express Entry draw, applicants (with tied scores) who have submitted their Express Entry profile before February 16, 2021, at 19:10:25 UTC, are given the preference to issue ITA.
More than 38 thousand ITAs for PR have been issued by IRCC so far this year 2021. The total ITAs are 38,657, which marks three times higher than the number of ITAs issued at the same time in the previous year.
The February 13th, 2021 draw played a key role in the increase of ITAs at a record level and also made history in both ITA and cutoff. It is to be recalled, IRCC issued a massive number of ITAs on a single day, 27,332 ITAs on Feb13, while the CSR requirement was only 75, the lowest ever.
