In the latest express entry draw, the CRS score cutoff decreased a little bit compared to the previous rounds. The latest round was held on 23rd December 2020 and the CRS cut-off requirement was 468.
Candidates with at least 468 were invited in the new draw, 5,000 immigration candidates got Invitations to Apply (ITAs).
In the previous draw that was organized on December 9, candidates required a minimum score of 469.
With the latest 5,000 ITAs, the number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canada PR issued this year crossed one million, the total is 107,350, a record-high number of ITAs ever. And the Dec 23rd express entry draw was the fourth consecutive to issue 5,000 ITAs for Canadian permanent residence.
Express Entry is a popular immigration application management system for candidates under three federal economic-class programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates were allotted ITA based on the CRS score, which is calculated depending on the candidate's human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, and language proficiency in English or French. The highest-scoring candidates will receive an ITA to apply for Canada’s permanent resident visa.
