Canada Launched Hotel Quarantine System: Is Prior Covid Testing and Hotel Quarantine Mandatory For Vaccinated Air Travellers?
To stop the spread of covid19 infection, the Canadian government is moving forward with strict safety and security measures and closely monitoring the pandemic. Launched the Hotel Quarantine System on Feb 22nd for travellers arriving in the country, recently released the list of government-authorised hotels where the travellers are required to isolate.

Do Hotel Quarantine Applies For Air Travellers Who Got Covid Vaccine?
The answer is yes. No exemptions awarded for vaccinated people by the Canadian government.
Coronavirus Testing (done 72 hours before boarding a plane to Canada) along with the Hotel Quarantine (after arrival) are mandatory for each and every passenger arriving in Canada from foreign counties, even incoming vaccinated passengers are also required to follow the same rules as per the government orders.

All molecular tests are accepted
Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test
Reverse Transcription real-time PCR (RT-PCR)

Antigen test or Raid antigen test
Age Limit For Covid Testing
Kids aged under five are not required to undergo covid testing.
International travellers of age 5 and over are required to provide a negative report from February 22.
With Out a Valid Test Report
International travellers without a valid test report are refused to board the Canada flight by airlines. They are not permitted to travel to Canada.
Recovered from Covid Yet Tested Positive
International passengers who have recovered from COVID-19 but getting a positive result in tests are allowed to enter Canada. However, there are required to provide the test report to the airline officials before boarding the flight. The test conducted between 14 and 90 days prior to your scheduled flight is accepted.
People who have recovered from the COVID-19 virus might test positive for a long period. Though positive, such category people will not be in an infectious state.
