Canada: Ontario Province Invited Foreign Workers and Students- Biggest Draw
Ontario is one of the ten provinces of Canada and it is the second largest region of the country, and houses the national capital Ottawa and also houses the largest modern Canadian city Toronto, which is also the capital of the province.

To fill-up the shortage of skilled workers and vacant jobs in the region, Ontario invites foreign nationals to work in their province through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
Biggest Draw
In the latest draw on 13 July, Ontario invited a total number of 1,685 foreign nationals, which includes International students and temporary foreign workers, to apply for a provincial nomination.
Candidates who have profiles in Ontario's EOI system (expression of interest) were evaluated. Three PNP draws were held targeting foreign workers, international students, and candidates with a prior job offer.
OINP Job Offer Streams
This is the major draw with the highest number of invitations in 2021 issued through the OINP Employer Job Offer streams that are Foreign Worker Stream, International Student Stream and In-Demand Skills Stream.

1,211 invitations were issued and the required EOI score was 33. Biggest draw in three pnp draws.
International Student Stream

431 invitations were issued. Required EOI score to get an invitation was 62.
In-Demand Skills Stream- Regional immigration pilot
Ontario issued 43 invitations to immigration candidates who were registered in the Regional Immigration Pilot.
The Regional Immigration Pilot was launched to overcome the skilled labour shortage in some of the rural communities, Chatham-Kent, Cornwall, and Quinte West/Belleville.
