Canada: World Education Services Reveals Rise In Immigrants Interest On Canada
It is a well-known fact that Canada is the most favorite country for immigrants. Though The pandemic corona is on the rise this year, immigrants have not lost their interest in travelling to Canada. A latest survey revealed.
A non-profit organisation, World Education Services (WES), known well for providing credential evolutions for international students and immigrants who are willing to study or work in and across U.S.A and Canada. Founded in 1974, WES runs its operations from New York (U.S) and Toronto (Canada).
Recently, a survey has been done by World Education Services by taking opinions of a few sections of people across various countries into account, the motive of the survey to know about the pandemic effect on their immigration plans to canada.
Majority revleaed that they are interested in immigrating to Canada. Survey finds that the number increased between April and August though the corona wave was rising then
World Education Services studied thousands of potential Canadian immigrants, who applied for WES evaluations between the beginning of last year 2019 (January)-mid of 2020 (July). Nearly 27,930 valid responses were analyzed.
The participants in the survey included Indians (46%), Nigerians (17%), Filipino (5 %) and Pakistanis (4%), Lebanese citizens (2%) and Bangladesh citizens (2%), while the remaining 25% respondents were from other countries
The method used in this survey is called Stratified Random Sampling, means small samples are analysed, Where people across the world are divided into smaller sub-groups known as strata. This method will reduce the time and money.
Key Survey Findings:
Majority of candidates are interested in immigrating to Canada, the number increased between April and August though the corona wave was rising then
Delay in immigration plans decreased, means immigrants are not stepping back from their plans of travelling canada despite of pandemic situations
Many prospective immigrants opines that economic conditions in their home country would be more worse compared to Canada
Interested to migrate to canada, as there is decrease in jobs availability in the home country
On the other hand, Decrease in jobs in Canada is not a deterrent for immigrants.
